Are you lucky enough to be buying expensive — and very possibly pink — presents for a loved one this Saturday?

Public displays of affection and canoodling couples are everywhere in the run-up to February 14th. But what of the singletons in this world? Are you looking for lurrrrve? Be a complete saddo and pay to put a personal ad in your local newspaper. Or go speed-dating to have deep and meaningful three-minute conversations with 30 drunk women: "Hello, my name's This and I do That and what do you do? Oh really well — ding-ding-ding — everyone switch dates!"

Or are you snubbing this year's blatant lovie-dovie money-making machine and spending your evening as per usual in a ditch with a bottle of gin, muttering incoherent expletives at passers-by?
