Yes, it's big brother time of year again
More watching boring people doing boring things in a house. But wait! have no fear, I've found a new reality tv show that is miles better and more entertaining than big brother, I bring you Watching Paint Dry...
One wall. Some paint. You decide.
Forget Big Brother. Watching Paint Dry is the new reality show. The first reality show to do exactly what it says on the tin.
Every day a different kind of paint will be put on to a wall. Confirmed contestants include; matt, silk, gloss, satin, vinyl, eggshell textured and smooth masonry - all of whom are eagerly looking forward to their first brush with fame.
Watch the action here every day via video link-up and vote for your favourite paint. The show will run for eight weeks and the results of the daily paint votes will be will be announced at 5pm every day, starting tomorrow. Plus there'll be a special 'Emulsion Show' every Friday when the paint with the least votes will leave the programme and head back to the DIY store.
Keep your eyes peeled for special guest appearances and look out for subtle changes in both the painting techniques and the style of brushes used.
The final show will witness the unveiling of the nation's favourite paint climaxing with a live demolition of the famous wall. So, if you are passionate about a particular kind of paint, keep coming back and voting!

Update
"Our Watching Paint Dry painter was up at the crack of dawn to give the wall its first bright red eggshell coating. Eagle-eyed nighthawks may have caught the only human star of the show as he painted our wall this morning!"

Watching Paint Dry is gaining viewers with the largest vote count yet! Thousands of you were glued to the action at 9:03am this morning when a fly got trapped in the Gloss. The Turquoise Wall is now completely dry, see how it glimmers! Turquoise Vinyl seems to be riding high on popularity at the moment, but for how long? We know what a fickle lot you can be. Vinyl may be your favourite today but as the oldest paint in the house, it can have its disadvantages. Turquoise has been around for decades; remember those toilet walls at your primary school? You thought you’d never see that shade again did you? Is Turquoise an old has-been or a timeless masterpiece? You decide. Remember to keep voting and the paint with the least votes will be shown the door on the Emulsion Show. Who do you want relegated to the dusty shed for good? |
